action and move out of your comfort zones.
Uncover the negative self-talk that damages your self-esteem and
diminishes motivation.
Carmel is the author of two
books on relationships. Her first book Relationships and Sexuality
was written as a result of the overwhelming response she had to an
interview on the Late Late Show with Gay Byrne. It is a practical
handbook for adults who are concerned with the healthy sexual and
emotional development of young people.
In her
second
book 'Sex and Young people, The Knowledge to Guide the Teenager In
Your Life', she aims to help to nurture confidence and self-possession in
young people, so they have faith in their own ability to make healthy
choices about their sexual behaviour and can communicate honestly about
what they want in a relationship.
She is
now writing a book on how understanding communication is the key to having
the kind of relationships you want. The research for this latest book
includes how to use the most up to date techniques in Neuro Linguistic
Programming, Life Skills & Business Coaching, and Emotional Intelligence.
Carmel’s
life mission is to improve communication in family, personal and business
relationships. For many years she wrote on Relationships and Sexuality
Education for the Advice Box in the Education and Living supplement of the
Irish Times. She writes on parenting for the monthly magazine
Reality and is the Advice Columnist for the Irish teenage magazine
Face Up.
Participants on the
workshops and seminars that she facilitates have been so enthusiastic
about her work that she now brings her skills to the corporate sector and
organises business
seminars
on request.
