This book helps readers see things in a
new way. A problem reframed, seen in a different way, becomes a
challenge. The coaching process helps readers to find and draw on inner
resources that they never knew they had. This increases self-confidence,
builds self-esteem, motivates and empowers the person to believe their
goals are achievable, their dreams can become a reality.
It introduces readers to ‘The Gremlin’,
the self-sabotaging part of a person that diminishes confidence, creates
feeling of inadequacy and breeds fear of not being good enough. Like
other holistic self-help books it suggests ways of enhancing self-esteem
and building self-belief.
Hailed as the 21st century
fast track to success the coach helps clients discover what they want, how
to work towards setting goals, make action plans, monitor results and
achieve personal and career outcomes.
Coaching borrows from counselling and
management. To some people counselling and psychotherapy carry the stigma
of mental illness. Coaching is not therapy.
A coach is not a therapist. Her role is
not to remove problems.
Coaching involves the active and
collaborative participation of both coach and client.
BACKGROUND

Many private colleges and institutes
